To combine physical and mental health tools to spread empathy- to ourselves and others.

Most of us now know that therapy and movement are both helpful tools to feel better…but they’re not often looked at hand in hand:

On the fitness side of things, many folks struggle with starting or sticking to fitness. Gyms can be intimidating, overwhelming, and oftentimes actually trigger our insecurities instead of helping us heal and grow stronger.

On the mental health side of things, there is still a lot of stigma in seeking mental health support and oftentimes these supports come with long waitlists and are hard to access.

Our objective is to give you three things:

  1. The best hour of your day. All of our services focus on coaching that meets you where you’re at, celebrates you just for being you, and invites joy, play, and humour.

  2. Validation that you matter and are enough, exactly as you are. We are all flawed, messy, and also awesome. No one should ever walk away from a fitness class, therapy session, or interaction in general and feel like you were a failure or broken in some way. We embrace all of our very normal, hard feelings here.

  3. Actionable, research-based tools for success. On the movement side, we teach high quality form and technique, provide you with any and all modifications you need, and use tools to help you (re)connect with your body and needs. On the mental health side, we use narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and a strengths-based approach to help you navigate whatever hard things are going on in your life right now.

We are a group of passionate people who use movement with psychotherapy to practice radical self-acceptance. We have experienced (and continue to experience) our own struggles, and want to share our love and what we’ve learned with others. It’s your turn to receive the love you keep giving away.
