Although our class members join us from various international locations, I wish to acknowledge that our classes are lead from the occupied, traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. I also acknowledge that this land, Tkaronto (also known now as Toronto, Ontario) is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
